having mixed feelings about this.

i'd appreciate constructive critiques. and please, you don't have to point out the sun cast a harsh light upon her, I know that already. I knew it by the time I shot this. but you can point out other things, though.

Not sure what else to say beside, I like it.

O vermelho e o preto ficam tão bem (vestido e meias). Está uma imagem bastante interessante e bom uso das linhas curvas do anfiteatro para conduzir o olhar para a menina de vermelho.

Boa!

"and please, you don't have to point out the sun cast a harsh light upon her, I know that already."

What's the matter with the sun? I love the way the shadow streches out, like an extension of her leg (or vice versa). And is this why she seems to frown? Because I love her frown!
The composition is perfect, perfectly well balanced. The harsh light and the white skin and the slight blurs makes one almost feel the blazing sun. I'm not sure what the title means but if it is like the french "aride", it is great.
Not your most stunning picture though.

I'm glad you do. :)
Thank you!

Obrigada! Mesmo! :)

You say you like the sun and the fact it made her frown? Maybe I'm really relentless about my photographs. I don't make excuses for them. :)
And it really isn't my best picture!

Thank you for your critique. It's one of the best I received.

My pleasure!

...yeah, I like the sun and the frown. I tried to imagine how it could have been, but with the tones of the stone steps I couldn't... They're meant to be in harsh light!

You should take the watermark off =D

PS: looking forward to new and better photographs!
